Built by a dad who got tired of hearing "nothing."
Every parent knows the feeling. You pick your kid up from school, excited to hear about their day โ and you get two words: "nothing" or "I don't know." That's where FamiFacts started.
๐
I'm a father of three kids โ with a fourth on the way. ๐
Every day I pick up my kids from school and ask the same question: "Hey, what did you learn today?" And almost every single time, I get the same answer back: "Nothing."
Not because they didn't learn anything. Not because their teachers didn't try. But because kids don't naturally reflect on learning โ they move on to the next thing. The knowledge sits there, unconnected to anything, and quietly fades.
That bothered me. A lot. I wanted my kids to have something to talk about โ a fact, a question, a spark โ something that made them feel genuinely curious about the world. Not just entertained by it.
So I built FamiFacts. The idea is simple: every morning, each person in your family gets one personalized fact โ matched to their age, interests, and what they actually want to learn. Something small enough to read in 30 seconds, interesting enough to remember, and different enough to talk about at dinner.
"I wanted my kids to be forced to learn something new every day โ not as a chore, but as a habit they'd actually enjoy."
