Sacred Geometry in Chartres Labyrinth
The famous labyrinth on the floor of Chartres Cathedral in France is an eleven-circuit design that forces walkers to take exactly 294 steps to reach the center. Mathematicians have discovered that its path length and turning angles follow precise ratios derived from the square root of three, creating a mathematically perfect unicursal route. Historians note that this pattern was laid out around 1200 CE using only compass and straightedge construction.
